AC Repair
AC Repair in Muncie, IN
Capacitor, contactor, compressor, and refrigerant leak repair across Delaware County. Flat diagnostic fee. Written quote before any work begins.

Most AC failures in Muncie are not catastrophic. They are a 30 dollar part that is doing its job until the first 95 degree afternoon in June, and then it is not. We arrive with the parts that fix 80 percent of common Muncie AC complaints already on the truck. We diagnose with a multimeter and manifold gauges, not by selling you a system. If the repair is honest, we do it that day. If it is not, we tell you that too.
We work on Trane, Carrier, Lennox, Goodman, Rheem, Bryant, York, American Standard, Amana, and most off-brand units from the last 30 years. EPA Section 608 universal certification on every technician. R-410A and R-22 service. If your system is R-22 we will quote the recharge cost honestly and let you compare against replacement.
What we do
- Capacitor and contactor replacement. The single most common service call between June and August. A failed dual run capacitor is usually the reason your AC hums but the fan never spins. Replacement is 20 minutes once we are on site, including the test of the new microfarad rating against spec.
- Compressor diagnosis and replacement. Locked rotor, grounded windings, burned terminals. We test before we quote. On systems over 10 years old we present the repair cost and a written replacement comparison so you can decide based on numbers instead of pressure.
- Refrigerant leak detection and recharge. Electronic leak detection on the line set, evaporator coil, and condenser. Repair or coil replacement quoted separately from the recharge. We never just top off a system without finding the leak.
- Frozen evaporator coils, blower motor failure, drain line clogs, thermostat wiring. The full list of common residential failures.
